Filtration sand is used in the treatment of potable water, sewage and industrial effluents. It is used as a component in dual and multi-media filters in conjunction with pumice or pumice / garnet in both rapid gravity and pressure filtration systems. Our filtration grades are BS approved for use in the treatment of water for human consumption. Filtration sand can also be used as an additive in anti-slip paints and coatings .
