Silicon Carbide

Silicon carbide is recommended in blasting applications where an exceptionally hard  media with a long lifespan is required. It is also extensively used in  grinding wheel manufacture, optical and lapidary processes. Silicon  carbide can also be used as an additive in coatings, vinyl flooring and concrete screeds to add a decorative hardwearing finish.
