Recycled Crushed Glass

Recycled glass is widely used as a filter media directly replacing silica sand and garnet. It is available in a variety of sizes depending on the exact application, but can be used in potable, swimming pool and municipal filtration. Recycled glass is also used in metal cleaning and surface finishing applications. It produces a much greater cut than glass beads due to its angular nature. It is chemically inert and environmentally friendly hence the extensive use in filtration. Recycled glass is an extender and filler in various alternative industrial applications such as flooring, desktops and countertops due to its durability and lustre.
