About Techfil
Techfil (Europe) Ltd was launched in 2007 in response to the major changes in the Pumice production and distribution network. With the closure of a major producer there was an immediate need for replacement Pumice Powders and Pumice Grains. Many small and large end users had relied on the same supplier for decades. With the invaluable assistance of US Pumice producer, CR Minerals Company, Techfil was able to offer a full range of Pumice Powders and Pumice Grains to fill the void.
The CR Minerals products are now well established throughout Europe and a network of key distributors is in place. Markets served include water treatments, dental, cosmetics, industrial hand cleaners, printed circuit boards, glass & crystal, jewelry, button tumbling, car polish, horticulture and construction.
Pumice has reinvented itself as an innovative raw material in many new applications including lightweight insulating plasters, crystalline silica replacement in paints & coatings, catalyst support media for precious metals, pencil lead additive for colour pencils and odour control media.

The abrasive media including aluminium oxide, silicon carbide, plastic media and glass beads compliment the pumice products for which we are best known. The full spectrum of grit/mesh sizes are available including both macro and micro sizes. Upon request samples can be arranged for testing and trial purposes.
Techfil prides itself on responding quickly to requests for technical data, samples and prices. We hold large quantities of each grade in our warehouse in Maidstone, Kent and are able to dispatch on next day and standard services throughout the UK and Europe. For global destinations Techfil has established links with international freight forwarders for both FCL & LCL volumes.
